So I’m running three Alien RPG games at the Manchester Board Game Festival on the 21st/22nd February this year.
I’m excited as it is my first time there so I do hope my games will go down well and be well received.
As usual I’ll have my dice sets, character sheets, cheat sheets, floor plans, maps, handouts, props, and setting images.
The first game on Friday afternoon is “Alien - All That Glitters is Gold”where you play the crew of The Betty (from the film Alien: Resurrection) carrying out a high-stakes heist for a very dodgy criminal organisation.
My second game on Saturday morning is “Alien - Star Trek Legacy: Conspiracy” where you play the new crew of the Starship USS Enterprise-G (from the TV series Star Trek Picard) sent on a mission at the far flung reaches of the Galaxy.
My third and final game on Saturday afternoon is “Alien - Empty Vessels Make No Noise” where you play the crew of Lewis & Clark (from the film Event Horizon) sent on a rescue mission in the arse-end of space.
All three games are open to all, irrespective of experience of tabletop games, everything is provided. Newbies are very welcome.

The job would be a cinch, a simple box bust on a floating palace baron stuck in a jam. Ringers onboard have thrown a spanner in the works.
Once they douse the glim, we bolt in offering gall gab as we grift our way in. Togged up as grease-monkeys to fix their gears they’ll welcome us in.
There’s no gitters or feds to nix the keister so we can oil open the box.
The haul wouldn’t be chicken feed either, it will be a cushy number of props. We secure the derby, scoot it out on The Betty, and meet up for the slaughter for our split. You savvy?

Captain’s Log Stardate 79766.17
We were on route to Pacifica when we were interrupted by a Code 47 (Captain’s Eyes Only) call from Starfleet Admiralty. I’ve been ordered to take the Enterprise to the Perintha system, site of the Iconian Research Taskforce. There are no further details to the orders but my intuition is that they are wanting to send the Enterprise through the ancient Iconian Catapult Device in orbit of Perintha Prime to be thrown instantaneously beyond the known Galaxy to the distant outreaches of deep space.
Nothing new for me then!

Your radio silence isn’t helping you as your reactor looks it will blow in twelve hours. Do you want to be rescued?”
