My Fria Ligan Games for UK Games Expo 2024

So I am running six Fri Ligan games at UK Games Expo 2024 using the Year Zero Engine. I am quite excited as I am using some very different settings and genres. And of course the games will be blinded up! The settings I’m using are Swedish Uppsala in the 19th Century as the investigators look into a curious case of Norse curses, a fallen star in Derby, UK in an alternate 1984 as Kids see what’s inside the crater, Star Trek: Legacy in the 25th Century as the crew of the USS Enterprise-G are sent on a secret mission (this will run three times), and last but not least is Alien where the crew of the Lewis & Clark investigate a strange signal. There are still some spaces for a few of the games so check them out.

‘Vaesen - Those That Fight Alone’

Vaesen RPG

Friday Morning Slot

For up to six players. New players welcome!

A student and gentleman of the esteemed Swedish historian and poet, Professor Erik Gustaf Geijer, the poet that brought the word “Viking” into common parlance, has written to the Society pleading for help. This young student, Baron Gustaf Wilhelm Leuhusen, feels he has a Doom upon him. Men who worked on the archeological dig at the old Norse burial mounds at Old Uppsala have all been violently slaughtered and he believes he is next.

Can the Society help? Does it have to do with the strange cuts on the Baron’s arm? And why are there soldiers wandering the streets of Uppsala dressed in the old uniforms of the Napoleon Wars?

Fallen Stars and Furious Pterosaurs

Tales from the Loop RPG

Friday Afternoon Slot

For up to six players. New players welcome!

Autumn is here; the dark evenings are drawing in, the smell of bonfires fill the cold air, the leaves are brown and gold, and birds fly and swoop over the fields.

But there are spooky goings on as livestock has disappeared, there are strange shrieks and noises in the dark nights, and a fallen star has crashed in the fields at Oak Flats. The Feral Buddleia isn’t back so what’s going on, is it all about Halloween?

‘Star Trek Legacy: Conspiracy’

Year Zero Engine

Friday Evening Slot

For up to six players. Newbies welcome!

Captain’s Log Stardate 79766.17

We were on route to Pacifica when we were interrupted by a Code 47 (Captain’s Eyes Only) call from Starfleet Admiralty. I’ve been ordered to take the Enterprise to the Perintha system, site of the Iconian Research Taskforce. There are no further details to the orders but my intuition is that they are wanting to send the Enterprise through the ancient Iconian Catapult Device in orbit of Perintha Prime to be thrown instantaneously beyond the known Galaxy to the distant outreaches of deep space.

Nothing new for me then!
