My Fria Ligan Games at North Star 2021

North Star 2021, Virtual Con on-line.

Saturday 8th - Sunday 9th May 2021

These are the two Fria Ligan RPG games I am running at Virtual North Star in May.

The first is a new Tales From The Loop Mystery set in the UK at Christmas 1984. Adventures in the snow, a fleeting glimpse of a silver and red Father Christmas, a Jawa-faced stranger hanging around a red telephone box, and mysterious lorries delivering odd devices. What’s it all about?

The second game is an Fria Ligan Alien scenario using the crew of The Betty from Alien: Resurrection as the player characters. A heist on a popular space liner under a tight time constraint for a psychotic crime boss, what could go wrong?

‘Winter Wonderland and Snow All Around’

Tales from the Loop RPG

Saturday Morning Slot

For up to six players. New players welcome!

“Monitoring Android last looked out, On the feast of Stephen”

“When the snow lay round about, Deep and crisp and even”

“Brightly shone the searchlights that night, the heat-rays’ bite was cruel”

“When a giant Tripod came in sight, burning down the school.”

‘All That Glitters is Gold’

Alien RPG

Saturday Evening Slot

For up to six players. Newbies welcome!

The job would be a cinch, a simple box bust on a floating palace baron stuck in a jam. Ringers onboard have thrown a spanner in the works.

Once they douse the glim, we bolt in offering gall gab as we grift our way in. Togged up as grease-monkeys to fix their gears they’ll welcome us in.

There’s no gitters or feds to nix the keister so we can oil open the box.

The haul wouldn’t be chicken feed either, it will be a cushy number of props. We secure the derby, scoot it out on The Betty, and meet up for the slaughter for our split. You savvy?
